1. I feel that sometimes I do use the method of imitation, without realizing it. The method can really help writers. I think that it is appropriate when you are having troubles with you writing and need help.
Applying and Exploring ideas:
1. Allen believes that inspired writers have a gift, writing comes easy for them. I believe this can have a bad effect on students. Many students are already very self conscious about their writing, and if they were to hear this myth, they may feel like they're writing is bad. But that brings you to anther subject; How do you know you're writing is bad? Many writers/students think their writing is bad, and it really isn't.
MM:
There has been many times when I have been discouraged when writing. Usually I feel discouraged when I'm writing about something I don't have much knowledge on. If I'm just writing to write, it can also be hard for me. But when I have a lot of knowledge on what I am writing, I feel that it is a lot easier for me to write.
